I am 19-year-old woman from Arizona.
How do you define virginity?
Virginity is being pure in body. However, there are multiple types of virginity that one can have the pleasuring experience of losing.
Tell us your story
A few years back, I gave up on the idea of waiting for marriage. I knew I wanted my first time to be with someone special though, and I was more than willing to wait for him. If you had caught me a few years prior to that change in mind, I would have been terrified at the very thought of anyone else having premarital sex.
I just needed to open up my mind a bit to realize that sex isn't a dirty thing. My best friend helped to enlighten me, as well as made me feel more comfortable with the idea of sex. That was around the time I was in 10th grade. One year after that, my best friend and her boyfriend shed themselves of the title of being a virgin. I was happy for them, as well as how sex positive they are.
Now, I am at University. I am in love with an amazing guy who loves me to bits and pieces. Just writing this all down makes me smile like an idiot. When we met, we were both virgins. Now, after nearly six months of knowing each other, we decided to have sex. It didn't hurt. In fact, I loved it! I feel closer to my boyfriend, and I am looking forward to more and more experiences with him. In the bedroom, as well as in life.
