Today we're highlighting David in St. Louis, whose gradual progression towards sex took a lot more time than the actual sex part. If you want to tell your story, go to our submission form. You can find all our V-Card Diaries here. Tell us about yourself:
I am a 26-year-old male and live in St. Louis, MO.
How do you define virginity?
Virginity is physical and mental, societal and personal. I can't help but think of losing one's virginity when I hear the term. To lose one's virginity is to be exposed, physically or mentally, socially or personally to intimate sexual contact with another person.
Tell us your story
I was 15, my girlfriend was 16. She was a junior in high school, had a car and her mom didn't come home from work until around 5. So after school, we always had a few hours we could spend by ourselves at her house. We had been getting more and more physical, making out, moving our hands underneath each others' clothes, eventually getting naked in front of each other.
One day, without much discussion, after we had moved through all the things we had done before, it was the next thing. I remember asking, "Is it in?" She took her hand and moved my penis inside her. I lasted all of about a minute. She was on birth control, I orgasmed quickly and without thinking of the repercussions. Afterwards, we both laid in bed, basking in our new-found status as not virgins anymore.
